What we know about you, and what we do with it.

When you send an enquiry, a message or an audit request, we keep what you submit — your name, contact details, and what you told us about your business — so we can reply and, if we end up working together, do the work. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and legitimate interest in running the business for follow-ups. Enquiries that never become work are anonymised after two years. To have yours removed sooner, email hello@carmarthenweb.co.uk— it’s done, not debated.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, doesn’t follow you to other sites, and shows us aggregate numbers only (pages viewed, rough location by country, browser type). We use it to understand which pages help people and which don’t — that’s the whole purpose. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in improving our own service, within the statistical-purposes provision of the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.

Don’t fancy being counted? Fair enough — switch it off:

• ·No advertising trackers, no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel
• ·No selling, renting or “sharing with selected partners”
• ·No marketing emails unless you explicitly asked for something
• ·No cookie banner — because there's nothing to consent to

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion — email hello@carmarthenweb.co.ukand you’ll get a reply from a person. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk), though we’d rather you told us first.
